Guest performers include Tony Franklin (b), Greg Ellis (d), Neil Citron (g) and Lana Lane (v). Bonus track is the superlative live version of "Wake Me Up" recorded in Tokyo in 1999. The European version is now out of print, and there is no US version of this title. We have limited stock of the Japanese import.

The Los Angeles progressive rock quartet Rocket Scientists announce the release of their first live album following their stellar European tour supporting their two studio albums, Earthbound and Brutal Architecture. Tracks for the album were recorded at the 1997 German Progressive Rock Festival in Bruchsal, Germany and also during a private showcase in North Hollywood, California. The live album contains energized performances of 11 memorable songs from the band's catalog as well as a medley of two songs from keyboardist Erik Norlander's critically acclaimed Threshold album performed with the Rocket Scientists band. Symphonic rock vocalist Lana Lane makes a special guest appearance on two tracks, including the rare "Stardust", previously unreleased in United States.

From the Kinesis progressive rock label comes the second, long awaited CD from Rocket Scientists. 65 minutes of sonic exploration into more progressive waters balances lengthy instrumental sections with strong vocals. The four piece band relies heavily on mellotron, synths, piano and Chapman Stick as they traverse through 11 songs accented by melodically inventive guitar and thunderous virtuoso drummming. Earthbound also contains an internationally acclaimed interpretation of Pink Floyd's classic "Welcome to the Machine" along with 12 original tracks.
